PAYMENTS
Payments will be made monthly throughout the September-May year. We will run the auto-withdrawal using the card on file every month on the last day of the month for the FOLLOWING month's payment. The first payment after your initial registration will be auto-withdrawn on the last day of September and will apply to the month of October and so on! (in 2026, payments will be: September 30, October 31, November 30, December 31, January 31, February 28, March 31, April 30) If you register in the middle of the year, your first auto-withdrawal may occur within days or weeks of your initial registration. For example: You registered on November 20th and paid the registration fee. Your first auto-withdrawal will occur on November 30th.
REFUNDS
Like dance & gymnastics, we cannot refund or give credit for classes missed during the semester. You will pay a deposit at the time of registration, which is equal to your monthly payment. If you cancel, the FULL non-refundable deposit will be forfeited, and whatever additional monthly tuition has been paid will not be returned. You may keep any materials that were provide to you. In unusual circumstances, and at the discretion of the director, we may offer future credit or other options if a family has missed several weeks.
We require 2 weeks notice is a family wants to cancel their enrollment. This will give us enough time to stop the auto-withdrawal and open up a spot for someone to join the class. If notice is not given within this time frame, the next monthly payment may be forfeited if it cannot be cancelled in time. Each family can take a 1-2 month pause during the year, and their spot in class will be saved. This also requires 2 weeks notice. If a longer pause is needed, your spot in class cannot be saved, but you are more than welcome to take a longer break as needed! Hopefully your spot will be there waiting for you!
BONUS CLASSES (used to be called "make-up classes")
When we offer classes on MORE THAN ONE DAY of the week, each family is allowed to take bonus classes throughout the year. If we only have classes on one day a week, the bonus classes will not be offered. They are first come, first serve, so be courteous to others and attend all of your scheduled bonus classes. You can find the bonus class scheduler here.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. If a class is cancelled, we will add a make-up class either on zoom or in person.
In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER, cancellations will be announced on our website & social media pages as well as your email that is on file with us. It is your responsibility to check these avenues for cancellation information before sending us an email. This doesn't happen often in Texas!
If your class is cancelled for ANY OTHER REASON (teacher illness, building issues, etc), you will be notified directly via email or texts. Please respond briefly to these texts/emails. If we don’t receive a response by the end of the day, we will call. We will also leave a status update on our social media pages.
HEALTH POLICY
The health of all classroom participants is important to us, so we take measures to ensure the cleanliness of our classroom and limit exposure to germs. We take time to sanitize our "mouthed" instruments and materials after each class with a safe cleaning solution.
If you or your child is actively sick or appears sick (fever within the past 24 hours, or showing active signs of illness—runny nose, repetitive coughing or sneezing), please stay home from class to prevent exposure at our classes.
PHOTO PERMISSIONS
From time to time, you will see us taking photos/videos of the class. We use these specifically for marketing purposes on Instagram/Facebook/Website. We will NEVER use any identifying information. Your acceptance of our center policies at the time of registration gives us permission to use photos/videos of your child.
If you prefer to opt out of photos/videos, please contact us via email, and we will honor your wishes.
CELL PHONES
We want to devote the entire time to music making! Because of this, we ask you to please turn off cell phone ringers (vibrate is acceptable) and put them away during class time. Cell phone use (texts, calls or excessive photos/videos) in the classroom during class time is strongly discouraged. But we do understand that emergencies do happen. If this occurs, please step out of the classroom to accept the call. Please do not casually text friends and family during class. This is very disruptive to everyone who is participating in our class. However, we do want you to feel free to snap a quick photo or video during class as precious moments happen. We just ask that you limit it to 1-2 times per class and make is snappy!
SIBLINGS AND GUESTS
Extra parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and caregivers are welcome to attend class — but since many of our classes are full, we have to manage our class size, so please let us know in advance if you are bringing more than 1 guest. Whole family music-making at home is extremely valuable to your child's music development, and attending class occasionally helps added family members feel more comfortable joining in.
If you would like to bring guest who is under 13 years old (for example: an older sibling who may be home from school), you will need to obtain permission from the teacher in advance. Siblings will be encouraged to participate since it can be a distraction when they are outside the circle or on a device. Sibling visitation spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed, especially when school is out. Please let your visitors (young & old) know that we want EVERYONE in the room to participate in class! Why? Because children LOVE to watch their family sing and play! If anyone needs to sit in a chair, we will provide that & add them to the circle of fun. Participation can be singing, clapping, tapping a toe or full on dancing!
SAFETY FIRST
Tiny Treble Makers wants your child to have fun and stay safe during our time together. Since our classes have all ages in attendance, we need to keep our little ones safe. This is why we have designated our Music Together® room as a no-running zone for our kiddos who are around 3 and older. Younger toddlers are slower and usually don't pose a running hazard. Please help us enforce this important guideline by redirecting your child to a safer activity when they start running. We welcome walking wanderers at all times! Just be sure the older ones are walking and not running. Feel free to distract them in a fun way or stand up when we are sitting or scoop them up at any time and bounce them around the room if you need to! Since this is a family music class, we want you to interact with and make music with your child/ren! This is a fun time for us all, so let loose, act like a kid again and allow your child/ren to explore at their own pace. Even if they don’t seem to be participating, they are still learning and taking in a ton of valuable information. They learn best when they are allowed to explore at their own pace.
*SINCE WE ARE IN A DANCE STUDIO, IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CHILDREN OFF OF THE BALLET BARRES. THEY ARE NOT MADE TO WITHSTAND THE WEIGHT OF A CLIMBING CHILD. PLEASE KEEP THEM FROM CLIMBING ON THESE AT ALL TIMES. IF THE BARRE BREAKS DUE TO CLIMBING, THE PARENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR.
FOOD AND DRINK are not allowed in our classrooms due to safety reasons (hot beverages and food allergies) and to protect the classroom from stains or damage. If you do have food or drink, please consume it prior to class or leave it outside the door to retrieve after class. This policy will be enforced to keep our classrooms clean and safe. Breastfeeding and formula feeding are always allowed in this space!
We are so excited to have you join us! Contact us immediately if you have any concerns or questions.
